My Services
I am a fully qualified, insured and experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in the heart of Norwich.
Being a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor means the relationship we develop together is key for the work.
I am committed to be alongside you on this journey as we use the mind, the body and the bigger than us parts of existence to explore what is behind you seeking counselling.
The power of Integrative Counselling is that my approach to working with you will be as unique as you.
There is no one size fits all when it comes to your personal experience and mental health.
Together, we work out what suits you best. Whether exploring and adjusting behaviours or exploring the past and how it now influences the present. Whether we focus on the bigger than us thoughts of life or re-connecting to our body and using breath to help regulate and ground. We could delve into the unconscious or stay present in the now, or a combination of them all. There are many ways of working to help uncover the root of our problems, which in turn can provide much freedom.
MY SPECIALTIES
ANXIETY
I have personal and professional experience navigating and understanding anxiety. I believe anxiety itself is a message and at some point in time, the origin of this message was lost leaving behind the physical and mental symptoms we define as anxiety. Using the safety of our relationship, I can provide ways to regulate and manage, whilst we explore and reconnect with the original message, which in itself can provide much relief, control and freedom from these symptoms.
TRAUMA
My work is trauma informed and evidence-based. It recognises the profound impact of developmental, childhood, and adult experiences of trauma. I understand the complex and varied ways trauma can manifest, from subtle emotional dysregulation to more overt and life changing symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the roots of their trauma, understand its effects, and develop coping strategies. My approach prioritises creating a safe and supportive space where clients can process their experiences at their own pace, working towards healing and reclaiming a sense of agency and well-being.
RELATIONSHIP DIFFICULTIES
It is through relationship we develop our sense of self, our identity and who we are in the world. It is also through relationship this understanding of our self can be challenged or changed. By establishing and using our relationship, we can safely explore the relational difficulties you may be challenged with and how this may be having an impact on your sense of self.
OUR STRUGGLES
Whilst I have particular experience in these areas above, I am not limited to and I welcome clients with a wide range of concerns and symptoms. Please feel free to get in touch and discuss what you need further.
DEPRESSION
Similar to working with anxiety, we can use the safety of our relationship to help us understand what the message is behind the depression. Through our exploration we can work to locate the true feelings and allow us to navigate and make changes, removing ourselves from the stuck-ness and despair we may be experiencing.
WORKING WITH AN ASD/ADHD DIAGNOSIS
I work with many clients with or in the process of an ASD and/or ADHD diagnosis. I appreciate the difficulty navigating a diagnosis can be, and feel using therapy to navigate these difficulties can be very beneficial. I am always open to exploring the potential reasons why, remaining curious to the effect developmental trauma or ACEs may have contributed.
GRIEF
My approach centres on providing a compassionate and present space for clients to navigate their unique experience. I believe in the importance of truly listening and helping individuals understand and process the complex emotions that arise during grief, allowing them to feel and express these feelings without judgment. Together, we can explore the impact of loss and work towards making sense of their experience, honoring their grief journey and supporting them in finding a path forward.
EXPLORING IDENTITY
Exploring identity is a common part of my work, as I recognise how life events, from relationship/ lifestyle changes/ diagnoses, to profound shifts in self-perception, can challenge our understanding of who we are.
In counselling, we can delve into these experiences, paying attention to the somatic information our bodies provide, to understand the complex emotions that arise. Through this process, we can work together to develop a deeper sense of self, clarify values, and ultimately navigate towards who you want to be, empowering you to live a more authentic and fulfilling life.

I work from my private practice in the centre of Norwich on Ber Street, located behind Notre Dame School about 3 minutes walk from John Lewis.
The building is a beautiful listed building with cultural interest and lots of character. My practice is located on the second floor, which is not ideal for everyone (for which I do apologise) but I also offer online sessions. The room is bright, spacious, quiet and comfortable.
I offer a free 15-minute assessment phone call to understand your needs and determine if we are a good fit. From there, we can arrange regular sessions, with the first session being an opportunity to discuss the process and address any concerns you may have.
Counselling Fee:
£50 per 50 minute session.
